DVD & Blu-Ray disc on the 18th of March & to sort of promote the release of
the discs, ComingSoon.net & Cinematical has posted photo stills of the movie

Horton Hears A Who Movie Review!

Yesterday night we went to watch the movie Horton Hears a Who & I must say that this movie is really fun & great to watch from the beginning till the very end. We just love every single moment of it.
The story-telling really fit well with the characters & the animation itself just look incredibly stunning especially the art design of the town call Whoville. The creativity & the details of it are just simply unbelievable.
All along if you've been thinking that Pixar is the only studio that can make a good animation movie, well, wait till you see this one.
The story begins with an elephant named Horton who discovers that life exists in a tiny speck that is floating through the air & are able to communicate with the mayor of that world who live in a town call Whoville.
But unfortunately, the animals in Horton's world do not believes his tale & set up to destroy the speck thinking it will end Horton's imagination. Even though Horton is surrounded by angry community which thinks he has lost his mind, he is still determined to help the people from Whoville no matter what & journey to a place where the speck can actually rest safely untouched & undisturbed.
You should definitely go & check this movie out with your family & friends. Featuring characters that is so cute, lovely & adorable with innovative story-telling & a really cool creativity & art design, Horton Hears a Who is definitely one of my favourite animation movie.

Final Wall.E Trailer!
10,000 B.C Movie Review!

Marketing campaign really did a fantastic job this time around, at least I know it works for this movie. I mean with a number of great posters that feature prehistoric animals & a seemingly not so bad trailer, I was hoping that 10,000 B.C would turn out to be a fun ride popcorn movie but unfortunately the final result is somehow dissapointing. Well, guess I should have listen to my girlfriend's advice as she predicted that this movie will be bad, even worst than AVP-R & I already have been warned like hundred of times.
Anyway, 10,000 B.C tells a story of a young hunter name D'Leh who has a crush on a beautiful woman name Evolet. When Evolet is kidnap by a group of mysterious warlords, D'Leh is forced to lead a small group of hunters to journey to the end of the world to save her & in the end, uncover a lost civilization where pyramids are build & a so called god who brutally enslaved people.
I was pretty sure that the story will be somehow similar to the Mel Gibson's Apocalypto but I didn't expect that it would be that boring & tired.
You can actually feel the boringness even at the beginning of the show which feature a scene that involve a group of Mammoths being hunt down by the hunter. I actually felt sad when the animal died & personally do not like the idea that killing a Mammoth is something to be proud of. Well, I know they needed food to survive but they can hunt for other animals instead of the ever lovely gentle Mammoth for food. Maybe a mean nasty not so friendly type of animals would be good. Anyway, this scene is sort of pointless & totally unnecessary if you ask me.
The journey itself is a very long & torturing process. I believe the movie is trying to capture those moments that is seen from the movie The Lord of the Rings where beautiful scenary or landscape is present & an unknown danger lies ahead through their journey to the end of the world. By the way, if you're thinking that putting a sabretooth & some bird eating flesh into the picture will help spice things up & in this case, on the action part, well, not entirely true as they only appear once or twice in the whole movie & you hardly get a good look at them. One thing I can be sure of is that the graphic for the sabretooth tiger looks awful.
Featuring an unknown cast, special effect that is not so great, lack of characters developement, lousy action sequences & a story that basically has been told in Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, 10,000 B.C is a movie that is not worth spending your money & time seeing it in the theater. It doesn't even feel like it was during the Ice Age era.
Wait for the DVD to release & rent it instead. Roland Emmerich really did a bad job this time if compare with his other successful movie such as Independence Day.

I Am Legend Alternative Ending!
I was searching for some new video of Silent Hill 5 &
happens to found out that an alternative ending for
the movie I Am Legend has surfaced.
If you notice in the early trailer, the final scene did not
appear in the theatrical version. Apparently the studio
feels that it isn't commercial enough & have to reshoot
to replace it.
Any good if compare with the theatrical version?

March DVD Releases I Must Own...
. 
I'm sure everyone will remember this classic Disney's movie which was released in 1961. I remember watching it for the 1st time when I was about 10 years old.
Well, not exactly the breakthrough type of animation movie at that time but is definitely one of the many great stories that was told by the people from Disney.
After more than 45 years since it was release in the theaters, 101 Dalmatians has gross a total of more than US$144 million & will be release in a 2-Disc Platinum Edition DVD format on the 4th of March.
What really interest me into buying this DVD is to know the truth behind the story of a 4 years old girl name Marla. Apparently she has painted an amazing & unbelievable paintings that worth US$25,000.
Well, not sure if all the paintings are truly done by her & I'm too lazy to browse through the internet to find out the truth. So I guess the only way is to buy & watch this DVD.
My Kid Could Paint That has grossed a worldwide total of more than US$256,000 & will be release in a DVD format on this coming 4th of March.
Not really sure if the movie going to turn out great or bad so I've decided to wait for the DVD instead of watching it in the cinema. One thing I can be sure of is that the computer animation do looks good accept for the bee. I was kind of hoping that it could be a little bit cuter.
With a production budget of US$150 million, Bee Movie has grossed a total of more than US$285 million worldwide & will be releasing in a single & 2-Disc Special Edition DVD format. It also comes in HD DVD format but since Blu-Ray has taken over the High Definiton market, there is no point in spending your money over it.
How often will you get to see an animated character turning into reality? The only movie I can think of right now is maybe Virtuosity, starring Denzel Washington & Russell Crowe. Well, not really from a cartoon world but almost close.
Featuring a number of great cast & an unforgetable music, Enchanted is a fun & enjoyable movie to watch. Every songs sang by Amy Adams were great & lovely. 3 songs from the movie has been nominated for Best Original Song in the Academy Awards but unfortunately neither one is crown as the winner which is kind of sad actually.
Enchanted has grossed a total of more than US$308 million worldwide & will be releasing in a DVD & Blu-Ray format on the 18th of March.
