February DVD Releases I Must Own...

After winning a total of 7 awards including best film & director in the Golden Horse Awards 2007, Lust Caution is definitely one movie that is worth checking out for those who have not seen it in the theaters. It is one unique & art type of film & the atmosphere, art direction & along with a lovely score in the background is what I like most about the movie.

With a production budget of US$15 million, Lust Caution has grossed a total of more than US$60 million worldwide & will be release in NC-17 & R-Rated edition DVD format on the 19th of February 2008.

With a stunning visual graphic, Beowulf would have been a perfect animation movie if it has a great story & action sequences in it, but too bad, it does not have any of the above.

Well, guess the visual alone would have satisfied some of the audiences out there, at least I know I'm one of them.

With a production budget of US$150 million, Beowulf has grossed a total worldwide of more than US$194 million & will be release in a single disc DVD format & a 2-disc director's cut edition in both DVD & HD DVD format on the 26th of February 2008.

This movie might not be as fun to watch in the cinema but I believe it will make a great DVD movie at home. It happens sometimes to a certain movies where you might not really enjoy it while you're watching at the big screen but back in your comfy home, it might turns out to be a fantastic film to watch. Personally I think it's a great movie.

With a production budget of US$30 million, 30 Days of Night has already grossed a total worldwide of more than US$66 million & will be release in both DVD & Blu-Ray format on the 26th of February 2008. For those owning region 1 PSP, it also comes in UMD format.
