Iron Man Movie Review!

After so many buzz going on, finally, the wait is over. We headed down to the ticket counter & bought ourselves a pair of Iron Man movie tickets right after work & this is what I would like to say about the movie. It's freaking AWESOME! I believe that this will be the best comic book movie ever made up till now. Marvel Studio really did a great job for their first self-financed movie.

Iron Man begins with Tony Stark, a genius inventor & billionaire industrialist that owned a company that manufactured weapon for the military. Eventually a group of terrorist kidnapped & forced him to build a devastating weapon for them. Instead of building a weapon, Tony are able to builds a high-tech suit of armor & escapes captivity. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man.

The story really balanced well with the introduction of the characters, the building up of the suit & with some special effect & action sequences along the way. Robert Downey Jr. is the perfect cast for Iron Man & he is one of the reason why the movie work out so well beside having Jon Favreau as the director. Terrence Howard is great as good old friend Jim, Jeff Bridges looks totally bad as Obadiah & Gwyneth Paltrow looks fantastic as always.

Stan Winstons, the guy who build the suit for the movie really did a wonderful job in making the armor looks believable . I mean, it makes you believe that the suit would actually work with all the move, technology & weapon.

As for the action part, well, let put it this way. It's neither great nor bad, it's just that after seeing it, you just wanted it more. I believe short is the right word. You just wanted more & more. It's exactly the same experience I had when I watched the first X-Men movie. Well, I guess they will put more action on the sequel but hopefully the story & direction will maintain as good as this one.

Overall, this is an awesome movie. With a number of brilliant cast, great story & action sequences, Iron Man is a definitely must watch movie for everyone! I believe this will going to be my favourite Marvel movie up till now.

Oh yar, don't forget to stay all the way until the credits end. Nothing much but I believe the fans of the comic book will be very exciting! I'm one of them! Woo hoo!
