The Incredible Hulk Movie Review!

Hulk smash! The Incredible Hulk is damn good I would say. Managed to catched it in theaters last night & we really enjoyed ourselves alot. It got the action, the love emotion, the fugitive feels & most of all, the Hulk himself looks awesome. Some of you might wonder, will this new Hulk be any better if compare with Ang Lee's The Hulk 5 years ago? Rest assure that although each movie has their own unique & style, I would say that this new Hulk is what the audiences & fans wanted to see in the first place.

The Incredible Hulk begins with scientist Bruce Banner desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that unleashes the force of rage within him, The Hulk. Living in the shadows, cut off from a life he knew & the woman he loves, Betty Ross, Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross & Emil Blonsky who seek to capture him & brutally exploit his power.

As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as The Abomination, whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk's own. To stop it, one scientist must make an agonizing final choice. Accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or find heroism in the creature he holds inside, The Incredible Hulk.

The movie kicked off into action immediately without wasting any time. The running & chasing sequences are all nicely done here. You get to see The Hulk pretty fast & not like the Ang Lee version where you only get to see him like after 45 minutes. What really great about this movie is that you don't have to watch the first Hulk movie to fully understand what is exactly going on. The story are well balanced that packed with great action sequence.

Edward Norton is the perfect choice to be cast as Bruce Banner. He really brings alot of emotional into the character. Liv Tyler is great too as Betty Ross & you know what, I actually preferred her more than Jennifer Connelly who also cast as Betty in Ang Lee's The Hulk. As for both Tim Roth & William Hurt, they really make a good so called villians in this movie. Tim's performance is wonderful.

Well, the CGI for The Hulk is not the best result we've seen so far but it is definitely an improvement from the first. To be honest, you tend to forget that it's a CGI as the movie goes on. It's more realistic I would say. The only problem I have is that you did not get a chance to really see how Bruce change into the Hulk. You can say that the special effect department took the easy way out or maybe it's a good thing. Anyway, it's great to finally see the Hulk as a hero & not just a character jumping & smashing things up.

Overall, The Incredible Hulk is one movie that fills with great story, full of action sequences, emotional characters & most importantly, The Hulk is a hero this time! I believe fans of the comic books will definitely appreciate what Marvel has done & enjoyed themselves. I knew we did. As for those who are not a fan, it is fun, entertaining & will definitely blow your mind!
